Here is a complete summary of the Boys under-16 Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA): Ahmed Sailor Tournament played on 28 September, 2016.

The first game was between Anjuman-I-Islam A. Eng., CST and Udayachal School, Vikhroli. Rohan Jaiswal’s only goal in the match was enough to end Anjuman’s run in the game, in an otherwise close matchup. Under the leadership of Ubaid N. Kazi, Udayachal won 1-0.

In the following match, Manecji Copper Education trust from Juhu featured against Oxford Public School from Kandivali. The game was the highest scoring of the day. Manecji Copper Edu. Trust had an easy run over Oxford. Manecji boys dominated their opponent’s box, while Oxford struggled to keep the ball in possession. The highest contribution to the goal fest came from Aman Khanna with a hatrick. Whereas Devoza grabbed a brace for himself in a fine team display. Meanwhile, Omkar Patel and Ahmed Hasnani scored one each helping their team to seal a 7-0 win at the referee’s full-time whistle.

Don Bosco High School, Borivali (West) played against S.M Shetty International in a game which showcased great attacking zeal from the former in a 6-0 win. The first-goal of the game came early-on in the 13th minute from Shannon D’mello. Followed by Praval Sankhe and Aranha Nishant strike in 19th and 21st minute, respectively. Sawant Sahil scored in the 40th minute, joining the goalscoring chart. Captain Ashley Koli’s brace further added to the final tally.

The other game saw St. Mary’s High School from Mazgaon beat Antonio De Souza High School from Byculla. The final scoreline read 1-0. A solitary strike from Zaid Bhujwala proved enough for St. Marry’s to end the day with maximum points in the pocket
