Sunday Boys win from a goal down.

Substitute Nishad powered Sunday boys comeback in a 2-1 win over spirited Catholic Gymkhana.
Catholic gymkhana, a team which has everything right in their arsenal but somehow fail to get the desired results. last game for Catholic gymkhana saw them lose 4-2 against Vintage FC but the game on display was pleasing. In today’s game, Catholic Gymkhana would have wanted to erase the memories of the loss to Vintage but it was not to be their game yet. Gymkhana boys went ahead in the 13th minute thru a set piece goal as Kirk Alvarez netted a brace. Gymkhana’s Elvin Fernandes stood out with a brilliant performance on the left wing and troubled the Sunday boys defence throughout.
In the second half, Sunday boys subbed in Vinod Nishad who got them on level terms within 7minutes into the second half. a brilliant move at a powerful shot whizzed past the defence and the diving goalkeeper only to stop in the net. From that moment Sunday boys took the upper hand in the game and piled up attacks on Catholic gymkhana. The Catholic gymkhana defence went into a lot of pressure with the Sunday boys attacks, gymkhana lads conceded free kicks in dangerous positions, left their men unmarked and all the action seemed limited into the Catholic gymkhana half. Sunday boys attacked with all might and in the 76th minute earned a penalty as their striker was fouled in an ariel duel during a corner kick, the resulting penalty scored by Omkar Shinde to make it 2-1 for Sunday boys as Catholic gymkhana went empty handed even after having a good performance overall.
