Kenkre FC face DSK Shivajians in a crucial I-league U-18 tie
17th December 2016: Kenkre FC is set to face DSK Shivajians in a crucial away match at DSK Dream City in the I-league Maharashtra Zone U-18 on Saturday evening.
Kenkre FC is heading towards the match on the back of a 10-1 loss which was inflicted by none other than DSK Shivajians. The Mumbai-based club is fourth in the table with one win in four matches.
Whereas, DSK Shivajians is sitting at the top of the Maharashtra Zone with three wins in three matches, maintaining a hundred percent record. During which DSK scored an astonishing twenty goals in the process and conceding only two goals.
DSK seems to be in the form of their life as they are heading towards the match after a 4-1 win against Mumbai FC on 13th December 2016.
This is undoubtedly Kenkre FC’s most important match of the group as a win will put them in contention to inflict pressure on DSK Shivajians and further move up in the table.
Kenkre’s backline must stop a spearheaded DSK attack who has three players in the top scorers’ list. Lalawmpuia (7 goals), Omkar More (5 goals), and Pranjal Bhumij (5 goals) has been on the scoring spree and they could prove out to match changer.
It will be quite interesting to see how Kenkre will approach the game against a powerhouse later today.
