Kapadia Nagar F.C. come-out victorious versus Phoenix by 4-1

On Saturday afternoon, 30 April 2016, Kapadia Nagar Football Club featured against Phoenix in the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) Division III match at St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel. A Thomas Matthew strike in the 21^st minute cancelled-out Moin Khan’s opening goal for Kapadia Nagar F.C., but an excellent team effort from the home-team brought further three goals through Noor Shaikh, Shoaib Shah and a second-goal for Moin Khan to wrap-up a 4-1 win in the process.

Kapadia Nagar F.C. placed itself in a position of dominance from the onset despite falling short after conceding the equalizer. The hosts progressed into the game as it proceeded, producing goal-scoring opportunities and converting the chances at their disposal.

An opening goal in the 6^th minute of the match from Moin Khan helped Kapadia Nagar F.C. as a reward for their early dominance in the match. Chances were created in ample quantity from both sides as the match matured, but as a quality stripped part of the first-half came to an immature end, Phoenix’s Thomas Matthew produced most of a half-chance presented around the 18-yard-box, finding space and time to score an equalizer on 21 minutes.

The hosts scored twice in the space of eleven minutes, first, Noor Shaikh in the 44^th minute, second, Shoaib Shah in the 57^th minute helped shape the full-time score-line in perfect sync with the inputs provided by Kapadia Nagar F.C. through the game.
