Interview with Chief Guests of the FFA 5-A-Side tournament

FootFun Football Academy’s 5-A-Side received tremendous response from everyone in the city. Coach Mr Savio Rodrigues’ brain child, the 5-A-Side tournament was definitely a step forward for India football in the right direction. Gracing the event with their presence, International model and famous actor Mr Shahwar Ali and reputed business tycoon Mr Shoaib Ahmed. We at Football Counter were obliged to speak to both the Chief guests. Here is a very short interview with them.

Q1) Sir, please describe the importance of FFA’s initiative?

A1) I feel this is a very positive initiative in the right direction. We have loads of talent in the country and now we must take crucial steps to nurture them. FFA has been one of the leading academies in the city and we are proud to be a part of this event.

Q2) How is your reaction to this overwhelming response shown by the parents and their kids.

A2) We are very pleased to see what we have seen today. Parents and their kids turning out in huge numbers. Cricket is the sport that is very famous in our country. But football is growing and we must stand together in making sure that we become a super power in future. We must make the dream come true.

Q3) Your message for all the kids and their parents?

A3) I just want to say that do not stop believing in your dreams. Work hard every day. Do not become complacent. It’s a long journey and not something we will achieve in a day or a month. It is a long process. For the parents I would say, Please encourage the little ones to participate more in extra-curricular activities and balance their academics. I am thankful to Savio Sir for inviting us here today.!!!
