Inform Kenkre FC to host Pune City in U-16 Y-League

Kenkre FC

Inform Kenkre FC is set to host FC Pune City at Cooperage Stadium, Churchgate, on Saturday evening in the Under 16-Youth League (Maharashtra Zone) Group A clash. Kenkre FC is looking to win their fourth successive match of the campaign, whereas, FC Pune City is currently in the second position and are further aiming to win their third match in Under-16 Youth League this season.

Kenkre FC is heading towards the match on the back of a comprehensive 3-0 win against Reliance Foundation Youth Champs (RFYC), meanwhile, FC Pune City inflicted an identical 3-0 against Football School of India (FSI) in their last match.

Kenkre FC’s Jay Bhavnani is currently the top-scorer in this season’s campaign with nine goals in just four games. His finishing attributes, pace, movement, positioning, has been top-notch, and more importantly, Jay has been clinical in front of the goal.

This clash is the most anticipating match of the Group A. Both the sides are fighting for the top spot which will take them into the next round. It will be quite interesting to see whether Jay Bhavnani can continue his goal-scoring spree  against a side who is yet to concede a goal in the group stages to get into double figures and become the first player in this season to do so.
