Football School of India lift the first-ever Hindu Hruday Samrat Chashak Rink Football Tournament title for Girls.

The 4th Edition of Hindu Hruday Samrat Chashak Rink Football Tournament kicked-off today. The two-day long tournament constitutes of 24 Boys Teams and for the first time, in the tournament’s short history, 10 Girls Teams. Football School of India were crowned the first-ever winners of the Hindu Hruday Samrat Chashak Rink Football Tournament for Girls as they beat Football Leaders Academy (A)

The team which made it through to the next round were KNFC (A), Football Leaders Academy (A) and Football School of India. The two team: Football Leaders Academy (B) and Companeroes FC featured against each other in a quarter-final match in order to decide, who will guarantee a place in the semi-finals.

Football Leaders Academy (B) edged past Companeroes in a tightly knit encounter which produced just one goal despite the number of chances created suggesting otherwise. Football Leaders Academy (B) were able to overcome their opposite courtesy of a second-half strike from Reetika on 13 minutes, as they booked their place in the final.

In the first semifinal matchup, KNFC were up against Football Leaders Academy (A), as the latter comprehensively triumphed into the final with a one-sided scoreline of 6-0 in their favour. Goals from Laura on 2 minutes, followed by a brace from Karishma in the 4th and 14th minute and a solitary strike from Nikita had put Football Leaders Academy (A) firmly in control. As the match came to a closure, Genevieve grabbed a brace to her name as the side completed a 6-0 win.

A narrow 1-0 win for Football School of India against Football Leaders Academy Football Leaders Academy (B) avoided an all-Football Leaders Academy final in the competition’s inaugural year. Akansha’s 11th-minute goal separated the two teams at the full-time break as FSI marched into the final.

Another narrow win, this time in the final bought FSI the title, beating Football Leaders Academy (A). FSI opened the scoring through Jyothi but saw their lead cut just a minute later when Jyothshika in FLA (A)’s rank level matters.

Into the second half and with just five minutes remaining, Manya produced the match-winning shot as her side FSI got their on the title at long last.
