Day 4 of The IFS-League of Champions

Sunday, 11 December 2016: An action packed Day 4 of IFS-League of Champions came to a closure at Andheri Sports Complex. A total of 12 matches were played in the under- 8, 10, 12 and 14 category.

Under-8

In the opening match, St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team A featured versus Young Shall Grow. The latter gained maximum points courtesy of a goal by Taksheel Chauhan in a narrow 1-0 win.

In the following match Koop Sports beat  St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team B by 3-0; as a result of St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team B’s failure to turn up for the match.

In their match against Young Shall Grow, Bhaichung Bhutia Football School entertained in a goalless draw. St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team B were handed another 3-0 defeat this time against Kalina Youngster because of their failure to turn up.

Under-10

Indian Football School Team B beat Indian Football School Team A by a comprehensive scoreline of 9-0; Shourya Bhaiya scored four goals and so did Rehan Gera as Vivaan  Vora also added his name on the score sheet.

In the next match, Indian Football School Team B featured in a 1-1 draw against Bhaichung Bhutia Football School. Rehan Gera’s strike was cancelled out by Dhruv Sihnha.

Kalina Youngster came out winner a narrow 1-0 win against Indian Football School Team A; the only goal scorer of the match was Kalina Youngster’s Nehant Pasupuleti.

Kooh Sports featured in a nine-goal thriller, where they were defeated by compatriots OLPS Kooh Sports by 7-2; Rohit Shrinivasan and Gavisht Goyal were the two scorers for Kooh as Advay Shirke scored twice, Shradul Kiran Sanas got himself a hat trick and Patrick Joshua scored twice.

In Bhaichung Bhutia Football School  vs. Lokhandwala strikers, the latter ran out narrow 2-1 winners. Aryan Malhotra and Ojasya Soham’s goals secured their side with vital three points.

OLPS Kooh Sports (Advay Shirke, Patrick Joshua) 2-1 Western India United Football Club (Blasie Rodricks)
Kalina Youngsters (Elijah Fernandes) 1-5 Lokhandwala Strikers  (Aryan Malhotra x3, Ojasya Soham, Karkhanis)

Under-12

In the opening match, Young Shall Grow played against Kalina Youngster, beating them by 2-0.

In the following match, Western India United Football Club was comprehensively beaten by Indian football School by five goals to one.

FuninOSports were closely shut down by Indian Football School by 2-1. As Western India United Football Club featured in an enthralling 3-3 draw. Later in the day, funinOSports suffered another loss this time to the hands of India on Track by 7-1.

Under-14

In the other game, Kalina Youngster entertained Bhaichung Bhutia Football School in a 1-1; Hilario Gonsalves scored for Kalina Youngsters and Raajas Singh scored for Bhaichung Bhutia Football School.

In the final match, funinOsports beat Young Shall Grow 2-1.
