Here is the complete round-up of all the games played on Day 2 of the Rustomjee Kenkre Champions League at Don Bosco grounds, Matunga from the under-8, under-10, under-12, under-14 and the Girls open category.
Girls – open
In the first match of Girls open category, Shooting Stars and Super Striker held each-other through to the full-time whistle to share points in an enthralling encounter. The crowd witnessed both sides desperately trying to score the first-goal, but a resolute defensive effort from both sides concluded the game in a goalless draw. Despite being goalless, the game set the rhythm perfectly to capture the attention of the crowd for the upcoming games in the category.
