Best of IFS-League of Champions

In association with Young Footballers, IFS-League of Champions 2016-17 is currently in the League round phase with some close and exciting matches been already played. The next match day of League of Champions will be played on 4th December 2016 at Andheri Sports Complex with exciting fixtures on cards.
Under-8
In the U-8 category, Kooh Sports will host St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team B at Andheri Sports Complex Ground 2 in the opening math of the day. Kooh Sports is heading towards the match after two consecutive draws and will be looking forward to claim their first victory against St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team B who will be playing their first game.
The second and last match of U-8 category will be played between St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team A and Baichung Bhutia Football School. Both the sides has won one and lost one in two matches. Nonetheless, this encounter between two young and talented side will definitely produce some exhilarating football.
Under-10
In the U-10 category, there are two emerging talents who has already made the impact for their side so far. Shardul Kiran Sanas of OLPS Kooh Sports and Aryan Malhotra of Lokhandwala Strikers, both the strikers has been on a scoring spree with Shardul netting five times and Aryan grabbing up four goals as of now in League round.
Shardul has also been named the man of the match twice, whereas, Aryan has been awarded once with the man of the match award. Lokhandwala Strikers who has been in a terrific form with three wins in three games, maintaining a hundred percent record is boosted by Aryan’s excellent form.
What is predicted as a close match, OLPS Kooh Sports will face Kalina Youngster tomorrow and Kooh Sports will lock horns against Baichung Bhutia Football School.
Under-12
In U-12 category, there seems to be a close contest between two of the finest players League of Champions has seen emerging from this campaign, Yohana Martin from Football School of India and Malla Anirudh of Young Shall Grow has been on a scoring spree and both has already set an example for rest of the players.
Yohana has already notched up nine goals for his side alongwith two man of the match award, whereas, Malla has scored six times and has grabbed man of the match award twice. Inspired by Yohana’s brilliance, Football School of India has won all the three games they played, during which they have scored seventeen goals.
They will be facing Baichung Bhutia Football School and Kalina Youngster, whereas, Young Shall Grow will face off St. Francis D’Assisi High School.
Under-14
In U-14, Shwet Jain of Funinsports and Manan Jain from India on Track is leading the top scorers chart with two goals in as many game and both the young talents has been awarded with one man of the match award. The U-14 category seems to be the only category which is wide open with all the teams having a chance to leapfrog each other in the upcoming match day. If both, Shwet and Manan continue their form, it will surely guide their respective sides to the top of the mountain with ease.
