Amir Sayed’s Hattrick hammers Bad Boys

Hattrick hero Amir Sayed
Carmelites brushed aside Bad Boys Club in a one sided affair as Amir Sayed completed his hattrick to give carmelites a 4-0 scoreline. Bad boys enjoyed a home advantage as the team is based out of Parel and conducts its practices at the St.Xaviers regularly, but failed to convert that into their favor. Carmelites opened their scoring as early as the 6th minute with Amir Sayed finding the target for Carmelites in an emphatic fashion from zero angle. Bad boys did not expect that to go in but Carmelites were leading courtesy the brilliant strike. 10 minutes later Amir Sayed headed in the second, a darting run and a beautiful cross from Bhutia. Carmelites troubled the bad boys with their attacking display as the BBC defence found solace in putting the ball for throw-ins to break the Carmelites attack. at the half time Carmelites went with a cushion of two goals.
Second half started vry much with the same approach by Carmelites as BBC gasped for breath from the attack launched by the boys in blue. BBC were resorted to bringing down the players the break the attacks. one such foul in the 52nd minute resulted in a penalty to Carmelites and the captain handed the ball to Amir Sayed to complete his hattrick. Amir did not dissapoint slotting the ball home calmly and celebrating it with the in trend ‘DAB’ move with his teammates. The onslaught continued even after Carmelites were 3-0 up with ball flying over the BBC frame regularly. 63rd minute and another move from Carmelites frustrating BBC defence saw the second penalty of the game, up stepped the most experienced man Stanley Fernandes to take the penalty as the BBC boys still arguing with the lines man to reconsider his decision. This short break and goalkeepers mind gamed did the trick as Stanley’s straight shot was saved by the keepers foot only for Smit Devkar to put it into the net for a 4-0 lead.
The Carmelites bench was relaxed and were seen sharing light moments in the dug out as BBC had completely opposite emotions running in their camp. The referee brought the game close at the stroke of 83rd minute and Carmelites walked away with an emphatic win.
