Vibgyor qualify progress with an easy 4-0 win over V.P.M high School

Vibgyor High School ‘Goregaon’ leap the Qualifying hurdle after they defetaed V.P.M s B.R. Tol English High School ‘Mulund’ in the 4th Division showdown of MSSA held on 25th August.

Both Vibgyor High School and V.P.Ms B.R. ToI English High School needed a win to qualify to the knockout stage as they had previously won and lost a match and the the today’s match would have decided there future in the MSSA for this season U-16.

With no competition coming in from V.P.Ms the first goal for Vibgyor High School was scored by Aryaman in the 20th Minute. 2 minutes later another goal followed in from Aryaman’s teammate who dribbled the ball in and volleyed it from the right wing to double the Lead by the end of first half.

The play maker of the game , Aditya Arora was substituted in the second half as Vibgyor enjoyed a 2 goal lead over their opponenents worked as he scored within minutes of entering the field. His second brace came in after a few failed attempts in the 44th minute. he could have easily scored a hat trick but failed to covert easy shots at goal in the final moments of the game.

V.P.Ms only needed a draw to make it to the Knockout round as they had a higher goal difference then Vibgyor as they had Defeated St Troop ‘Kandivali’ 7-0. As the final whistle blew, V.P.M.s B.R. High School had lost out to Vibgyor High school 4-0 with Aditya Arora scoring twice.
