St Thomas were able to qualify to the Finals for the first time in their history after beating Singapore International School 2-0 in the Semifinals of MSSA U-16 Boys 4th Division match held on 9th September.

It was a closely contested match between Singapore International and St Thomas in the Semifinals. Both the teams were equally balanced throughout the first half of the game.

Yash Tambe striker of Singapore international was leading the attack in the end of first half but his attacks reached safe hands of Thomas Academy goalkeeper, Ishaan Singh.

Singapore International though had most of the ball possession but first goal of the day came in the 46th minute. Joyson Chettiar the Thomas Academy Captain cum striker volleyed the ball in after pacing down the Centre half for opening goal.

St Thomas Academy players morale was raised due to the narrow lead. This resulted in a last minute goal with St Thomas strikers all coming together for the 2nd goal.
