Sixteen city teams gear up for the El Shaddai United Cup 2015

Sixteen teams from across the city will battle it out for one of the most lucrative prizes in Mumbai Football – The El Shaddai United Cup tomorrow at the Mhatre Ground in Vikhroli.
With prizes worth Rs. 40000 on offer, and medals and trophies to go with it, the El Shaddai United Cup has emerged as one of the biggest prizes in Mumbai.
El Shaddai United FC, a private club from Vikhroli, has organized this tournament with both their senior and junior teams taking part in the run for the silver ware.
The tournament will kick off from 9am in the morning with the hosts El Shaddai United kicking off against YRFCA. The first round is scheduled to finish by 1pm before the the quarter final action kicks off beyond that.
Many reputed MDFA teams are among the participants at the El Shaddai United Cup. The Ruffians, Veera United, K.N.F.C are few of those sides who would be among the elite sixteen teams who will be gunning for glory in Vikhroli tomorrow.
It promises to be an exciting day of football at the Mhatre Grounds tomorrow as these sixteen teams who have very little between them, aim to set the ground on fire with some lovely football.
The event will be graced by India’s Bodybuilding Champion Sunit Jadhav who will be present at the venue to inspire the team. Sunit has earned great accolades in Bodybuilding Competitions across the globe, having won the bronze medal at the international level in 2014.
El Shaddai United deserve plenty of accolades for setting up such a wonderful tournament with such big prizes on offer, while only having a moderate entry fee. They will now hope their teams deliver on the pitch tomorrow and get the hands on the glittering piece of silverware.
