Santacruz F.C 2 : 1 Rudra F.A.C.D Final Whistle Result

Santacruz F.C made with a 2-1 win over Rudra F.A.C.D in the 3rd division match of MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) at St Xavier’s ground, Parel on 15 April 2015.
Prateek Kawade from Santacruz F.C made an attempt to score in the very first minute. He failed to score as the one of the player of the opponent team defended from 2 yards as the goalkeeper failed to make a save. It was a good save by the Rudra F.A.C.D player.
5 minutes later Rohit Bawre gave a chip at Prathamesh Shinde who shot from a very short range and hence the ball went feet’s above the cross bar.
During the first five minutes the game was played inside Santacruz F.C’s box. It was a good attack by Santacruz F.C during the first few minutes.
Adil Shaikh of Rudra F.A.C.D proved to be the hero when he scored a goal in the 9th minute. It was their first attempt after the beginning of the match. Adil Shaikh scored against the flow until that the game was well controlled by Santacruz F.C. He received a pass from one of the wingers and he shot at the target. The goalkeeper made a mistake as he came forward to collect the ball.
3 minutes later Santacruz F.C’s Prathamesh Shinde ran along with the ball in the direction of the goal. He shot from a short distance but goalkeeper made a good save.
In the 16th minute Santacruz F.C got a free kick. The striker shot from 6 yards but it hit the goalpost.
After their first goal Rudra F.A.C.D were keeping a good defensive shape and trying their best not to let anybody enter the 6 yards of Santacruz F.C’s box.
In the 20th minute Santacruz F.C’s Alviro Fernandez gave a cross from 6 yards by they failed to score. The cross was not received by the winger as he arrived late, hence the goalkeeper collected the ball.
At the end of first half Rudra F.A.C.D were leading by 1-0. Santacruz F.C made maximum attempts to score but it was difficult for them to break the defense.
Five minutes after the first half Santacruz F.C’s hard work was rewarded when Anderson Antade gave flight to the shot passed by Julian Flanco. Anderson gave a square cut at Anderson Antade who shot on the target.
10 minutes later Santacruz F.C’s Anderson Antade got a chance to score himself but the goalkeeper denied with a save. He shot from 6 yards after receiving a pass from left winger & his shot did not turn into the goal as the goalkeeper made a good save.
Santacruz F.C’s Anderson Antade put efforts & made road towards the goal in the 42nd minute. He gave a cross from 2 yards and his shot landed into the goal. This goal had put Santacruz F.C in lead and their failure to score in first half was well compensated.
On one hand Rudra F.A.C.D were in pressure and on the other hand Santacruz F.C were rejoicing.
In the 48th minute Aviro Fernandez got a yellow card when he deliberately pushed Ajit Sawant.
In the last minute there was substitution by Santacruz F.C where Sushant was substituted in the place of Ashley Fernandez.
With the full time whistle the game ended with Santacruz F.C winning by a margin of 2-1.
