Prizes worth 40000 up for grabs at the El Shaddai United Cup 2015
Football in monsoons has its own charm. A casual game with friends is one thing, but playing a football tournament in the bliss of the rainy season is a different fun altogether.
El Shaddai United brings you this awesome opportunity to mark the monsoon season with glory by organizing the El Shaddai United Cup for footballers across the city.
The single day football tournament to be held on 5th July at the Mhatre Ground in Vikhroli East will give football teams across the city a chance to battle it our for the big money prizes in store for the winners.
So as the city drenches in the rampant monsoon, sixteen teams will be in the mix to get their hands on Mumbai Football’s biggest monsoon prize-The El Shaddai United Cup.
Each team will be allowed a squad of ten, consisting of seven starters and three substitutes. The matches will be refereed by MDFA Licensed referees and will be a knock-out competition.
With the entry fee of just Rs.2000 per team, the El Shaddai United Cup will have massive prizes on offer, with the winner taking home, a cash prize of Rs.15555 along with a trophy and winners medals. The first three runners-up also walking away with big prizes.
The Best Player will win studs from Nike while the Best Goalkeeper will be awarded Goalkeeping gloves by Nike.
Registrations have already begun and only sixteen teams will get a chance to take part in this monsoon footballing carnival.
