PIFA Colaba U17 side thrashed Young Guns

PIFA Colaba U17 humiliated Young Guns 4-0 in their second division match of Mumbai District Football Association clash. The boys from Colaba were nothing short of perfection as they ripped apart Young Gun’s defense mercilessly.

Himanshu, Vibhor Nair, Anurag More and Nehal Shetty scored for PIFA Colaba U17.

There was no doubt regarding the better team, right from the kick off, PIFA Colaba looked very fragile. On 25th minute, Himanshu’s sublime finish helped Colaba getting the lead, it was Himanshu’s first attempt. Quite a way to open the scoring.

PIFA Colaba U17 dominated further with most of the attacks came from the right flank, although Colaba lacked finishing instinct which kept the score still, at least until the start of second half.

As soon as the second half kicked off, PIFA Colaba’s hard work paid off when two quick goals from Vibhor Nair and Anurag More increased their tally to three goals inside forty minutes.

Both the goals were scored on counter as Vibhor and Anurag both with their quick acceleration left Young Gun’s defenders on shore to score their respective goals.

PIFA Colaba would have scored more than four but they missed series of chances where they could have done much better.

With ten minutes remaining, Nehal Shetty was set through on goal where he comfortably knick the goalkeeper to score PIFA Colaba U17’s fourth and final goal to seal the match.
