Mumbai Warriors came back from 2-0 down to beat Steadfast in an ill-tempered match

On 15th October, 2015 Mumbai Warriors made an incredible comeback against Steadfast FC as they went on to win 3-2 despite being down 2-0 in the 1st Division of Mumbai District Football Association.

Steadfast’s Lordston Soares brace just inside first ten minutes gave them a huge advantage but Kurbaan Shah double strike and Aditya Dalvi’s goal changed the whole course of the match as Mumbai Warriors ended up winning 3-2.

It took Steadfast FC just three minutes to open the scoring as Lordston Soares slotted his chance past Mumbai Warrior’s goalkeeper to take an early lead.

Just three minutes later, Lordston Soares scored another to give Steadfast FC a two goal lead over Mumbai Warriors.

Lordston was set on goal by Robin Baptista, the former placed his shot firmly into the net dampening Mumbai Warriors hopes.

Though just before the half-time break Kurbaan Shah Cut short the deficit as he scored from Rahul D’Souza cross to go into the half time with a one goal deficit.

The second half was dominated by Steadfast FC as kept searching for the third goal to put the tie on the bed but their luck failed in front of the goal.

Aditya Dalvi gave Mumbai Warriors a reason to celebrate as he poked his chance into the net to get Mumbai Warriors a dramatic equalizer.

With few minutes left, Mumbai Warriors turned the tables as they went ahead with a goal from Kurbaan Shah as he pounced on the ball after Deepak Apte’s shot was initially blocked inside the box.

A remarkable comeback which none of the spectator even saw it coming.
