M.S.S.A match-day round-up: Boys under- and Girls under-12

On the 8th of December 2015, in the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (M.S.S.A) competition Beacon High School narrowly won against Anjuman-I-Islam High School in the Boys under- category. Meanwhile, in the Girls under-12 category Jamnabai Narsee (B) comfortably beat Bombay Cambridge at the M.S.S.A ground, Azad Maidan.

In the Girls under-12 match played between Jamnabai Narsee (B) and Bombay Cambridge concluded with the scoreline of three to zero in favour of the girls from Jamnabai Narsee (B). As the fulltime score board clearly suggested, it was dominant performance from the girls of Jamnabai Narsee (B), and clearly out-clashed their opponents Bombay Cambridge without any mercy.

Saanya Santosh was the star performer in the game, in a match which had a number of chances being missed-out on, she remained calm and clinical in front of the goal to bang in a hattrick to lead her side to a comfortable 3-0 win against Bombay Cambridge. It was a deserved will for Jamnabai Narsee (B) not only because they were better in terms of converting their chances, but also remained dominant throughout the game from the very start.

In the Boys under- , Beacon High School managed to clinch a victory against Anjuman-I-Islam High School. They did so on the back of a solitary goal scored by their number 6 Sumer Singhmago, who also captained his side as he single-handedly marshaled  his team cross the finish line with his goal, which was scored in the 19th minute of play.
