Labbaik FC’s retort in the second half gives them victory over The Sports Gurukul

Labbaik F.C defeated The Sports Gurukul 4-2 in the 3rd Division match of MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) at St. Xavier’s ground, Lower Parel on 17 March , 2015. The game changed its track during the second half were Labbaik F.C dominated.

The first goal of the day was scored in the 3rd minute itself by Labbaik F.C. Labbaik’s Ansari Zaid got a pass from Ansari Sohail who gave a direct throw and the goalkeeper failed to stop the ball. It was a strange goal which made it 1-0 in Labbaik FC’s favor

The Sports Gurukul then managed to show their presence in the game by scoring a goal in the 5th minute which was directed in the net by Varun D.V who scored for The Sports Gurukul.

Following this Sports Gurukul dominated the first half and scored one more goal in the 15th minute. Sachin Kumawat scored this goal, due to which The Sports Gurukul were leading during the first half.

The first half ended 2-1, with Sports Gurukul ahead of Labbaik F.C. Both the teams missed many chances to score due to some good defending the defenders and good goalkeeping by the goalkeeper of both teams.

In the 30rd minute Fitwala Ammar received a pass from Khan Tarbez and he cut two players in between and scored a well-directed goal for Labbaik F.C. this goal started the comeback of Labbaik F.C.

After this Labbaik F.C got many chances but failed in their attempt to score a goal. They missed a very easy chance during the 32rd minute as Ansari Zaid got a good chance to score a goal against The Sports Gurukul but Wilson John defended it well.

In the 33rd minute Ansari Nazim’s shot went directly in as the goalkeeper failed to collect the ball. It was a simple but a responsive goal.

In the 45th minute Labbaik F.C had a good chance to score a goal but the goal keeper collected the ball by diving low to his right which was kicked by Ansari Zaid. This was a good piece of goalkeeping by the goalkeeper.

A good goal was scored in the last minute by Shaikh Shaizaad from Labbaik F.C. The last whistle ended the match and Labbaik F.C were on the winning side.

The score of Labbaik F.C would had been higher had they not missed many chances to score goal.
