On Sunday, 13th December 2015, Kenkre Football Academy inaugurated the 3rd Edition of the Rustomjee Kenkre Champions League at Dos Bosco School, Matunga; it emphasizing on promoting football for age groups under- 14 and 17 and co-ed  under-8, 10 and 12 for Boys. The tournament initiates to the development of football for girls, and has an open age-group category for the girls.

The competition welcomes every person eligible to kick the football to the Sunday League, which started 3 years ago will a single primary motive i.e. provide young kids a chance to present their skills-sets and play more number of competitive games in a calendar year, which – in particular – is an essential factor for the overall development of a child, who nurtures himself to develop his mind and body with football literacy.

The biggest issue as a nation India faces in football is not only proper infrastructure, but an essential element – which has largely been ignored – development of the mind to think as a footballer. A platform which provides the notion to not only display your skills, but develop the competitiveness of your ability by playing more competitive games against the teams which come to this tournament from across the city.
