Karen Pais’ hat-trick powers Mary Immaculate to a big win over Ryan International

Mary Immaculate High School Defeated Ryan International C.B.S.E, 5-0 with a hattrick coming from their Captain Karen Pais in the U-16 Girls MSSA held at MSSA grounds on 26th August.

Captain Karen Pais of Mary Immaculate assisted Naomi Fernandes net the opening goal in the 5th minute of the game to help their side gain a lead and Karen took the charge from there.

The Ryan International had a weak defense which crumbled under Mary Immaculate’s attack as Karen Pais took the lead of her team. The continuous attack led to Karen scoring herself in the 12th minute after a Volley kick went in without any obstruction from the keeper.

Karen was all over the game and 2 goals cane in quick succession by the end of first half as she completed her hat trick within 10 minutes.

Karen who has captained the Under 14 national side netted her fourth goal for her side in the 25th minute which would heavely improve the team in qualifying to the knockout stages based on Goal difference in the later stage of MSSA.

By the end of regulation time the ball hardly crossed the Ryan International’s box as the better half of the game was played by Mary Immaculate team to win 5-0.
