JUSP and Kapadia Nagar had to settle for a draw

On 22nd November, 2015 JUSP (SJUM) and Kapadia Nagar cancel each other out 1-1 in their 3rd Division clash of Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) at MSSA Ground, CST.

Prakash Singh opened the scoring late in the first-half on 18th minute to give JUSP a vital lead but a late strike from Shoaib Shah for Kapadia Nagar meant that both the 3rd Division outfit had to satisfy with a draw.

JUSP had a bright start as they had a much better ball possession and kept on threatening Kapadia Nagar’s back four.

The deadlock was finally broken late in the first-half when Prakash Singh’s sublime finish gave JUSP a deserving lead. Kapadia Nagar somehow held JUSP for the rest of the half with an much organized defense.

In the second-half, Kapadia Nagar fought back hard. A much improved midfield was noticeable from the side who were trailing 1-0, soon Kapadia Nagar started to control and dictate the game.

Their hard work finally paid off on 28th minute when Shoaib Shah equalized for Kapadia Nagar with a fine finish.

Both the clubs further failed to capitalize on their chances and had to settle for a draw.
