Jamie Vardy’s New Record and 11 consecutive “Chat shit, get banged” moments

With all the media attention and spotlight on the Leicester City frontman, it was only a matter of time until the internet got hold of him. Having sent an aggressive Facebook post back in 2011, Vardy blossomed to social media stardom with his original one-liner “Chat shit get banged” —> If what you say is untrue, or is an attempt at defaming my character, I will engage you physically. For those of you who are not on the same page of reference, it is an expression used to humiliate people who hate on someone or something given birth by the Golden boy himself, Jamie Vardy. So, when someone says “Jamie Vardy sucks” and he then scores 11 BPL games in a row, you reply with “Chat shit get banged”. This post sparked a flurry of joke images which flowed all over social media. However, in retrospect, Vardy must’ve had all his eggs hatched in one basket as things are seem to be turning out for the Englishman.
Jamie Vardy wearing golden boots, went into this game hoping to eclipse former United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record, set across two seasons in 2003. In a dramatic anti-climax for United and Nistelrooy fans, the 28-year-old scored in his 11th straight game v Man United and broke the record run to make history. On 24 minutes, Christian Fuchs played a no-look pass right into the path of Vardy and the England striker smashed the ball past David De Gea. The King Power Stadium obviously went nuts! As the King Power Stadium rocked to a crescendo of noise and Vardy took the acclaim, it was time to reflect on the sort of finish that has become his trademark in a golden season for the striker who has made his way from Stocksbridge Park Steel in the non-league to England recognition and history maker.
What a story and what an example to any youngsters or non-league players fighting their way up the ladder. And the run may not be over yet.
Tracing some famous reactions on Vardy’s run, it seems as though he has turned into a legend of sorts already–
Claudio Ranieri: “I haven’t been invited to Jamie Vardy’s party! Hahaha!”
Gary Lineker: “ Jamie Vardy! He scores when he wants…”
Ruud Van Nistelrooy: “Well done @vardy7! You’re number one now and you deserved it. #11inarow.”
How far can Vardy go? Are those rumours that Real Madrid are interested in him based on good judgement? Could he one day fight for the Ballon d’Or? Do Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo now have another start to worry about? ..were some of the nasty questions/jokes being posted on social media to banter the paranormal success Vardy has seen so far this season!

Here’s a sneak peek into the massive fan-fare surrounding Jamie Vardy’s heroics at The King Power Stadium. A brief look into what the crazy Leicester supports think of him now…
It’s a hell of an achievement for a striker to score in 3 or even 4 consecutive games so what Vardy has achieved in this run of 11 games is nothing short of phenomenal and will be for a very very very long time before it is equalled or bettered. Nothing is impossible… he was 28 years old was playing non-league football only a couple of years ago. Overlooked by many but now he will be remembered by all. Scored in more consecutive games than any other player in premier league history. Here’s to the dream , here’s to never giving up and here’s to the pursuit of happiness. One step at a time. … Because failure is not an option.

As a proud Leicester City fan for about 20 years….I’m absolutely elated Jamie Vardy has set us on the way to a potential 3pts and in doing so broken the 11 goal record set by united legend Ruud Van Nistelrooy – proud and happy Vardy is the record holder…..but will be all the more sweeter if we can claim an important victory. Congratulations Jamie Vardy, I take my hat off to you, all Leicester fans should be rightly very proud of you.
