Floodlit football event for kids

Mumbai, November 18: TSG (The Sports Gurukul) is all set to launch the ‘Ajmera FCL Junior – Football championship League’ for school children from December 5, 2015 at their ground in Mumbai. The ‘Ajmera FCL Junior – Football championship League’ will be held on a day-night basis which is also a first for a football league for school children.

FCL has a clear vision of encouraging the young brigade into playing the world’s most entertaining and popular sport. By providing an opportunity to play the game under floodlights, will be a thrilling experience for the participants and will also be one of the major attractions of the League.

The tournament is designed with an insatiable desire to ensure school boys and girls get adequate exposure of playing the game under the watchful eyes of established coaches also accessible during the tournament. With matches being played only during the weekends it would motivate families to come together and spend quality time together bonding with one another around football.

Events will be conducted in the following categories, Under-6 (mix), Under-8 (mix) and for boys and girls’ Under-10, Under-12 and Under-14 . In addition there will also be a tournament for boys’ under-16.

All matches will be played from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and under floodlights from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
