Central Railways on the rise after derailing Companeroes

Central Railway (Head Quarter)

Central Railways registered their fourth straight win after trashing Companeroes 4-1 in the Elite Division of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) at the Goan’s Sports Association ground on Sunday, 12th April 2015.

Central Railways came into the game winning their last three games and the confidence was evident when they romped to a 3-0 lead in the first half.

Rashid Shaikh struck an early brace to put the Railmen under control before Karim Shaikh added a third before the break.

Companeroes managed to stem the Central Railway attacks but couldn’t prevent Karim Shaikh from getting his second to put Central Railways in a commanding 4-0 lead.

Companeroes did manage to pull a goal back through Oliver Castellino but couldn’t stop Central Railways from notching up their fourth straight win.

Central Railways have turned things around quite dramatically after losing their first five games to sit bottom of the pile. But single goal wins against Mumbai Customs and Dena Bank after a 2-1 win against MS Police means the Railmen now are in a great position to beat the drop.
