Army Public School pip J.J. Academy; Ishan Rajgharia grabs six as Jamnabai crush IES MVM

Army Public School, Colaba scored a narrow 1-0 win over J.J. Academy Mulund to advance to the next round of the MSSA U-16 4th Division Knock-out cup tournament at the MSSA Ground on Wednesday, 2nd September 2015.

Akash Dayani was on target for Army Public School as his goal proved to be the difference between the two sides.

In other results during the day, Jamnabai Narsee (ICSE) handed IES Manik Vidya Mandir a 6-1 thrashing where Ishan Rajgharia was the star of the show as he grabbed six stunning goals in the game. It was highly refreshing to see the young lad’s appetite for the game as he was relentless in his efforts during the game where he well and truly announced himself on the big stage.

Jamnabai Narsee’s B team followed on their senior team’s footsteps and grabbed a less emphatic but equally crucial 1-0 win over St. Joseph High School from Vikhroli, thanks to a goal from Ishan Chawla.
