Andre Moritz leaves Mumbai City FC

Andre Moritz, Mumbai City FC’s Brazilian midfielder won’t play any further part for Mumbai City FC in the season as the midfielder has had to return to his homeland for unknown reasons.

The club in a statement confirmed Andre Moritz’s departure from the club on Wednesday evening. The statement read as follows

We would hereby like to announce that due to some personal emergency which requires him to go back home immediately, Andre Moritz will not be with us to play for the rest of the Hero ISL 2015. Upon his request, we are relieving him from team duties for the rest of the season. The team wishes him the very best – Indranil Das Blah, CEO, Mumbai City FC

Andre Moritz had become an instant hit with the Mumbai City FC fans after his breathtaking hat-trick in his first game for the club. He was the only player to score a hat-trick in the competition until Stiven Mendoza scored one for Chennaiyin against FC Goa recently.

Andre Moritz’s loss will be big one for Mumbai City FC as they will miss his goals from midfield

Mumbai City FC fans will now be hoping their favourite Andre Moritz returns again to play for them in the following campaign.
