Krish Parekh appointed captain of Maharashtra U-15 team

Mumbai, December 8: Krish Parekh of Jamnabai Narsee High School has been selected to captain the 20-member Maharashtra Under-15 football team, which will participate in the Sub-Junior National Football Championship for the Coca Cola Cup 2014-15 (qualifying round-West Zone) to be held in Goa from December 10 to 20, 2014.

The Maharashtra team coached by Augusto D’Silva will open their campaign against Gujarat on Wednesday, December 10.

Besides Maharashtra, Gujarat and hosts Goa the other states who will be participating in this competition are Daman & Diu and Madhya Pradesh.

The team: Krish Parekh (Captain), Pranesh Tambe, Paurav  Vakharia, Ankit Saxena, Osama Ansari, Gaston  D’Silva, Shreyas Sail, Shamdul Zankar, Kamran Ansari, Kashif Ansari, Clivert Miller, Krish Adhikari, Vedant Divekar (all from Mumbai); Ruturaj Sankpal, Pranav Kanase, Aniket Varekar (all Kolhapur); Bhuvan S. Jerpoth, Aman Kirnapure (both Nagpur); Yunus  Shaikh  (Pune); Nakul Shelke (Thane).
