G.M. East Indians hold Western Railway in MDFA league Elite division

G.M. East Indians and Western railway earned 1-1 point in Mumbai District Football Association i.e. MDFA league match played on Friday 7th March, 2014 at Western Railway’s home ground, Mahalaxmi

G.M. East Indians were looking better side as compare to their last encounter against Kenkre F.C they faced 3-0 defeat. They have learned from their mistakes, they have done their homework nicely, getting early break though in 3rd minute strike by Deep Moorjani motivated the entire unit. Western Railway were not quiet they were trying hard to get the  momentum going, on 78th minute they equalise their deficit of a goal through Prabal Chakraborthy with a brilliant long range shot.

In second half both the team couldn’t scored more and ended with 1-1 after full time.

2nd division matches played on Friday at St. Xavier ground, Parel.
