Holy Cross United and Anushakti Nagar SA grabs comfortable 2-0 victories to open up their respective 3rd division play-off groups, while in 1st division Wellingdon Catholic Gym. pick fourth win
3rd Division Play-Off:
Goals from Allwyn D’souza and Remy Fernandes gives Holy Cross United an important 2-0 win to keep them alive in the group B of third division Play-Off. Holy Cross United are now at the 2nd spot with 1 win and 1 loss while IIT B still top the table. At the other end, South Mumbai FC suffered their first straight defeat of the group stage coming from a draw in the previous game.

In the other play-Off game of the day, Anushakti Nagar scored a crucial 2-0 win to go to the top of the group G table, which had all its team sitting on a point after the first round of games. Yogesh Palekar and Prashant Ghughatyal scored the two goals for Anushakti Nagar while the defence held its line well against the RCF Colony Boys Attack to keep a clean sheet and take all three points.

Wellingdon Cath. Gym continued their unbeaten streak with a 3-0 win over Catholic Gymkhana, who are yet to taste victory this season. Gleason Rodrigues 13th minute strike put Welllingdon in to lead before Eric Dowling and Innocent Fernandes secured the game in the second half with two more strikes. The wins takes Wellingdon on second spot in group table with 13 points and are on par with Tarun Sporting with an advantage of a game in hand.
