MDFA: NB Challengers cruise to a 4-1 win
NB Challengers FC earned their first win of campaign with a comfortable 4-1 result over GKW Rangers FC (A) in second division of MDFA, while Rizvi ceramics blanks DK Pharma in 1st division

Coming in to the game placed at penultimate position of group H table, NB Challengers produced an inspired performance against GKW Rangers FC to win the game 4-1 and lifting four places to fourth spot. Mithun Manna opened the scoring in the 17th minute before Abdul Khan doubled the lead around half hour mark. Four minutes later, Rishiket slotted home the third for the game before Rakesh Chandran scored the fourth goal of the game to make it 4-0 at the hour mark. Sheldon Menezes struck a consolidating goal for GKW Rangers eight minutes later as the game ended at 4-1 score line

In first division fixture, Rizvi Ceramics breezed to a comfortable 4-0 win over DK Pharma to move to second spot in group A table. Soheb Sayed opened the scoring in 14th minute to put Rizvi in to lead which was doubled six minutes later courtesy Akshay Chavan’s strike. In the second half, Oliver Castelino came up with a late brace to finish off the game at 4-0 score line to make it two wins in three games with just a point away from table toppers miners FC.
