MDFA Youth League: IFA edge Youth Soccer Academy 2-1 in a thriller
In a close game, IFA edged Youth Soccer Academy while in other game; Goans FC grab a 3-0 win in a lop-sided affair.
In a group E fixture between IFA and Youth Soccer Academy, a goalless first half was followed by an entertaining second half that saw three goals scored in the space of three minutes as IFA snatched a close 2-1 win over the latter.
Midway through the second half, Dhanesh Shetty opened the scoring for IFA which was immediately doubled by Abhishek Patil as IFA raced to a 2-0 lead. However, the drama was still not over as Altamash immediately pulled one back for his team to give an exciting last ten minutes. There were no more goals as the game ended at 2-1 with IFA take all three points.

In another group G game, Goans FC breezed past Spartans FC to take a comfortable 3-0 win. Atharva Shinde opened the scoring in the 11th minute before Yashodhar Sharma doubling the lead at the stroke of half time. Russel scored the third goal early in the second half as Goans finished off the game against Spartans FC.
