Another successful edition of FFA’s 5-A- Side tournament passes with flying colors

Mumbai: Foot Fun Football Academy’s 5-A-Side tournament was held on the Karnatak Sporting Association (KSA) ground, Azad Maidan on the 9th April i.e the Sunday. Mr Savio Rodrigues, the head coach of FFA was the backbone of this wonderful grassroots tournament which had three age groups this time, the U-8, the U-10 and U-12.

Football Counter had it covered and we bring you the final round up of this brilliant one-day tournament.

In the U-8 Category

Soccer Warrior side beat Braveheart by 1-0 with the winning goal coming from Darren.

In the U-10 category

Black Stallion defeated Mighty Minion by 3-0 with a wonderful brace from Aaron and one goal from Harsh.

In the U-12 category

Jaguar beat Roaring Tigers by 2-0 with two lively goals from Craig and Josh.

The tournament turned out to be a huge success as there were close to 100 goals scored in the entire day. A huge round of applause for all the referees who were present for the tournament. A big thank you to all the parents for supporting their kids to participate in this grassroots level tournament. Last but not the least, a huge round of applause for Mr Savio Rodrigues who hosted this tournament. His passion and love for the game should be credited.
