U16 Y league, Maharashtra Zone: Kenkre to take on RFYC on Sunday

The third round of Maharashtra Zone of U16 Y league will see Kenkre take on RFYS in search of their first win of 2016-17 season at cooperage stadium on Sunday

Maharashtra zone U16 y league: Kenkre will be looking forward to improve from the injury time loss to FSI

After a close defeat against Football school of India (FSI) in a game where Kenkre FC conceded an injury time goal to drop a point, Kenkre will now face Reliance Foundation Young Champs (RFYC) in their second game of the Maharashtra zone of U16 Youth league.

Jay Bhavnani, who scored the hattrick in the previous game, will once again be shouldering the responsibility of scoring goals for Kenkre. Kenkre will also have to be attentive of committing extensive fouls, as like in the previous outing against FSI, William chettiar’s 75th minute red card allowed the opponent to take the lead while Kenkre were reduced to ten men on the field.

Kenkre FC U16 team that finished in the third position with just 11 points in ten games in last year’s U15 Youth league will be eager to improve their standings this time around as they face RFYC for the first time. The Match will be held at cooperage stadium with 7 PM Kick.
