Supreme FC held YMCA
YMCA kicked off the afternoon game, at St Xavier’s Ground, Parel ended in a 2-2 stalemate against Supreme FC on 27th December 2016.
All the goals came up in the second half where the orange team ‘YMCA’ in the first 5 minutes scored two but also conceded two lately.
32nd minute free kick goal was scored by Umair Ansari Jersey no.8 with a slit deflection by the Supreme F.C defence sending the keeper the wrong way which got the first goal making it 1-0 in favour of the orange outfit also saw an early substitution just before the centre start where Soham Katkar was pulled out to be replaced by Karan Yadav.
Quickly in the 34th minute, a very skilful dribble by Kasim Sayed made it double as he shots the ball powerfully using his left foot in the back of the net making it 2-0 for the leading side.
The 44th minute saw the first yellow card of the game from Referee Rohan Rebello to Imran Ansari.
Soon in the 45th minute, a free kick was awarded to the trailing side outside the box sweetly taken by Substitute Karan Yadav got Keneau Albuquerque with a headed shot beating the keeper and closing the margin by 2-1.
Another free kick in the dying minutes of the game got the equalizer taken by Aniket Lad from 40 yards got Vipul Lad in the centre just on the line of the box who beat the keeper with a cheeky chip which went from above the keeper in the back of the net making it all square also followed to be the last attack of the game as the full-time resulted in a 2-2 draw.
