MSSA Round-up for Wednesday, 16 November 2016
16th November 2016: As Wednesday’s round of matches concluded at Azad Maidan and St. Francis D’Assisi Ground for the Boys under-14 category, Lilavatibai Podar Sr. Sec. (ISC) (SC) recorded the day’s biggest win against St. Xavier’s H.S. – scoring six goals without reply – in Division 1 group ‘C’; Eshan Kalza individually dominated goal-scoring chart with five goals, Aryan Bhongale managed to add his name, as well. In Division 1 group ‘A’, Don Bosco H.S. recorded a similar scoreline – a six-goal thumping over Army Public School; Faizuddin Siddique scored a hat-trick as Mathan Murzello, Shyam Redekar added to the full-time score.
Our Lady of Health H.S., St. Domnic Savio H.S., The Cathedral & John C. (A), all came out as eventual 3-0 winners. A team effort from The Cathedral & John C. (A)’s Jaden Irani, Ranay Shah and Abhinav Dujodwala bought the goals for their side as they defeated St. Xavier’s H.S. Fort in Division I group ‘A’. St. Domnic Savio H.S., Andheri’s 3-0 win against St. Joseph Secondary in group ‘C’ came on the back of two goals from Sahil Pawar and a solitary strike from Quain D’souza. Our Lady Of Health H.S. beat Jamnabai Narsee Sch. with a goal a piece from Ayush Chandan, Arnold Silvaraj and Parikshit Alva sealing a 3-0 win in division IV group ‘Q’.
